WITH ALL POWER OFF, and ALL CAPACITORS DISCHARGED, take a "scribe" or other pointed tool, and push down between the ears of the pin socket ears (between the ear and the phenolic or ceramic), and push down. It will push the ends of the pin-socket ears together, resulting in a tighter tube socket.
