In the avionics industry of yesteryear, we used some stuff called "CRAMOLIN" (sounds bad, but works good). It's not only a contact cleaner, but Enhancer as well. Seems like it leaves a single-molocule thickness on the contact surfaces and works to "enhance" the conductivity of the metal surfaces contacting each other. WARNING - Do NOT use on RF producing stuff, i.e. transmitters, amplifiers... The stuff soaks into phenolic switch wafers, and conducts from about 21 mHz and up. I found this out the hard way - on a SWAN 500C... didn't think I'd EVER get it to work again.
